The 8th International VELO-CITY Conference will be held in Basel, Switzerland, September 26-30, 1995. The main themes are: Changing over to bicycling, Bicycle-friendly infrastructure, Safety aspects, The environment-friendly transportation combination, Health and environment, Cycling and leisure, and Bicycle parking facilities and protection from theft. A poster session will be held for nonspeakers who want to share information. A prize will be awarded for a paper on "Separation vs. Integration". The language will be primarily English, with simultaneous translation into French and German.
