Urban Forestry Workdays

Work days for 1999-2000 are currently scheduled for the last Saturday of most months:

  • Oct 30, 1999
  • Nov 20, 1999
  • Jan 29, 2000
  • Feb 26, 2000
  • Mar 25, 2000
  • Apr 29, 2000
  • May 20, 2000

Workdays begin at 9 am, allowing for a break at 11 and ending by 1 pm.

  • Learn: tree care, indigenous plants, fire debris removal.
  • Bring: gloves, clippers.
  • Wear: socks, sturdy shoes, long pants, long sleeve shirts, poison oak protection.

Newcomers welcome. Under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Great mother-daughter, father-son, friend-friend activity. Adopt your tree or park segment to nurture.
